Shahaf Rocker Yoel is a mother of four children. She received her Ph.D. in 2022 , in the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel.
In 2001, Shahaf received a Software Engineering Certificate from the Technion and a B.Tech. degree with honors from Industrial Engineering and Management and Textile Engineering at Shenkar College for Engineering and Design, Ramat-Gan, Israel.
Between 2000-2015, she fulfilled several roles as program manager, planning manager and quality manager, in electronic, medical and textile companies.
Her research interests encompass robotics education, self-efficacy, interpersonal skills, and STEM career choices.
Since 2021, Shahaf serves as a lecturer at the Faculty of Industry and Management at Ort Braude College in Karmiel. In 2022 she has started working as a Research Associate in the SELA group.
